Asylum cigars are made in Miami under the watchful eye of Christian
Eiroa. Eiroa, whose claim to fame is the success of the Camacho
cigars, sold his previous company to Davidoff of Geneva and launched
this new project in 2012. The founders of Asylum: Kevin Baxter and Tom
Lazuka joined Christian Eiroa so they can focus on brand development.
“By partnering with Christian Eiroa and his company, Tabacaleras Unidas,
we have a platform that gives us the ability to create full-body,
high-palate-impact to truly flavorful medium bodied cigars” said Tom
Lazuka. “Developing blends that will satisfy customers and leave them
wanting more was no easy task but we believe we’ve done just that.” says
his partner, Kevin Baxter.
The Asylum cigar is medium-to-full body and full-flavored comes in
four sizes: Petit Corona (4 x 44); Toro (6 x 50); Torpedo (6 x 54) and
Gigante (6 x 60). The Asylum motive is new and innovative with a
refreshing trend towards the un-orthodox. Made in Miami with Nicaraguan
PURO blend the Asylum is an extraordinary cigar in more than one way.
