La Aroma De cuba Mi Amor reserva

Hand-crafted in Nicaragua at Pepin Garcia’s My Father factory, Mi Amor Reserva is draped in a dark and enticing Cuban-seed San Andres Oscuro wrapper. This toothsome leaf hugs a potent array of aged Nicaraguan long-fillers. Together this ensemble delivers a bevy of rich, smooth flavors in spades. Notes of roasted coffee, cocoa, earth, sweetness and a hint of cedar all make an appearance behind an impressively refined finish. Throughout the cool, slow burn, expect a gentle note of spice to enter the fray, weaving its way through the impressive bouquet. Although a tad stronger than its counterpart, Mi Amor Reserva never sacrifices an ounce of that renowned La Aroma smoothness.

torano master maduro and salutem

Since launching the original Master in 2010, the brand has received numerous 90+ ratings, including a 98 rating in Cigar Journal Magazine, the Torano Family added a Maduro version with a Nicaraguan/Dominican core, Ecuador Habano binder, and a sun-grown Nicaraguan Habano Maduro wrapper. The result was a complex cigar with an abundance of flavor and sweet-spicy notes.

Salutem cigar by is a new, exciting cigar from Carlos Torano. Salutem means Welcome in Latin and we certainly welcome this new intro. Dressed in Habano wrapper from Ecuador, with Jalapa Valley binder, and Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Cameroon filler blend this brand is complex and very well balanced. Choosing Cameroon tobacco for the filler makes for a unique and tasty blend with outstanding spicy-sweetness. The process of including Cameroon inside the cigar (instead in the outside wrapper) is rare and adds to the distinctive aroma of the Salutem cigar. The wrapper is an awesome Habano leaf grown in Ecuador, soaking with rich tobacco aromatic oils that ensure even, study, burn and add plenty of nutty flavors to the Salutem cigar. There is a very unique taste to these cigars. I enjoy them.

CAO concert series

The CAO Concert is a real concert to all your senses. The box design is a recreation of an old Marshall Music amp with the exact layout of the different gain controls and the cigars inside are the best of CAO. Nashville which is synonymous with music and cigars has a new player in town courtesy of CAO. The CAO Concert is perhaps their most adventurous and exceptional release to date. From the brand that was launched in Nashville and marches to the beat of its own drum comes CAO Concert, a new collection that celebrates CAO’s ties to music and harnesses the legendary energy of Music City. “CAO Concert was inspired by the brand’s roots in Nashville,” commented Ed McKenna, CAO’s senior brand manager. “When listening to music at a concert, or even in your own backyard, it’s a great time to sit back, enjoy a great cigar, and enjoy the people you’re with. That’s what Concert is about.”The four-cigar collection is firmly planted in the full-medium-bodied range, with great harmony of flavor among the tobaccos. CAO’s Rick Rodriguez created the blend which features a special combination of four different Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers, not previously used in any other General Cigar offering. Wrapped with a lustrous Ecuadorian Habano Rosado and bound with CT Broadleaf, CAO Concert begins with a kick of pepper, mellows with hints of subtle sweetness and comes to a full-flavored finish.

shizo bundles

This one might have your stratching your head a bit - so I’ll cut right to the chase. Schizo is a brand new release from Christian Eiroa, of Camacho fame. As a part of his new product line roll-out, he released this little number. It’s downright tasty, performs like a champ and is priced oh-so-right. The only catch is it’s a Cuban-sandwich style cigar crafted from the remnants of his new line Asylum. But Scout’s honor, you won’t even notice because each Schizo pumps out a a bevy of mellow flavors and billows of cool smoke. Mild to medium in body, each Schizo contains notes of leather, natural sweetness, cream, gentle spices, and a hint of cocoa. Highly enjoyable, Schizo is a Nicaraguan puro you can puff on all day long. And at my paltry asking price you can stock up until your heart’s content.

Asylum Cigars and Asylum 13

Asylum cigars are made in Miami under the watchful eye of Christian Eiroa. Eiroa, whose claim to fame is the success of the Camacho cigars, sold his previous company to Davidoff of Geneva and launched this new project in 2012. The founders of Asylum: Kevin Baxter and Tom Lazuka joined Christian Eiroa so they can focus on brand development. “By partnering with Christian Eiroa and his company, Tabacaleras Unidas, we have a platform that gives us the ability to create full-body, high-palate-impact to truly flavorful medium bodied cigars” said Tom Lazuka. “Developing blends that will satisfy customers and leave them wanting more was no easy task but we believe we’ve done just that.” says his partner, Kevin Baxter.
The Asylum cigar is medium-to-full body and full-flavored comes in four sizes: Petit Corona (4 x 44); Toro (6 x 50); Torpedo (6 x 54) and Gigante (6 x 60). The Asylum motive is new and innovative with a refreshing trend towards the un-orthodox. Made in Miami with Nicaraguan PURO blend the Asylum is an extraordinary cigar in more than one way.
