ryj by romeo y julieta

For the first time ever, Altadis U.S.A. is releasing a version of it's famed Romeo y Julieta brand made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco.
The RyJ by Romeo y Julieta is a Nicaraguan puro constructed with a double binder of EstelĂ and Jalapa leaf and fillers from Jalapa, EstelĂ, and La Mia. Altadis says the wrapper, also Nicaraguan, is grown exclusively for the company, though they are not sharing the specific region of origin.

This is the second addition to the company's Romeo y Julieta portfolio in recent years. The last iteration, Romeo by Romeo y Julieta, sported an Ecuadoran wrapper and took third place in our 2012 Top 25 list.
RyJ, which the company says is rich, bold, and spicy, will come in three sizes: Bully Grande, 5 by 54; Toro, 6 by 52, and Piramide, 6 1/8 by 54. They will retail for between $8 to $8.75, and should ship later this month.
