Padilla Miami

I have heard so much about the Padilla line of cigars. So this past summer, at the retailers convention in Vegas, I stopped by the Padilla booth to get some literature on their product and some pricing. They gave me a few samples; so far, all I have smoked are the 'Miami's".

The Miami has a very grassy taste to it. I almost want to say it tastes stale, actually, that is what i'm going to say. It tastes very stale.

I have smoked bundled cigars that start off better then this.

Half way through the cigar, the flavor enhances, however, that's not saying much as it develops a wood flavor and continues to taste stale.

The overall strength is medium bodied. It drew well; however, did not burn nicely.

I have heard from a few reps that the Padilla 1932's are very good, but I have yet to try it, I will have to pull it out of my personal humidor, It's not very cheap though so I will be expecting something pretty good. As far as the Miami I couldn't see ever purchasing one.

Overall rating 2.5 out of 10
