Avo Heritage

An Avo with a nice bite to it.

The Heritage Series of AVO is a remarkable, medium to full-bodied blend that pays homage to the farmers, blenders, and rollers responsible for making AVO one of the industry’s premier, super-premium brands. Avo Uvezian worked side by side with cigar-making legend Hendrik ’Henke’ Kelner to select the finest Cuban-seed, Ecuadorian sun-grown wrappers attainable, and combine a robust mixture of Cuban-seed Dominican long-fillers inside. The result is a satisfying series of rich, complex flavors delivered in smooth, balanced fashion. The core is creamy with notes of toast and cocoa, and a touch of sweet cedar and subtle spices on the finish.

AVO Heritage Series was awarded a 90-point rating, noting: "A very dark and oily cigar that smokes evenly. It starts out a bit papery but warms to show a woody, leathery
character and apple-like sweetness."

Cain Daytona

Oliva Cain Daytona cigars, like their cousins, are handcrafted by Oliva Cigars in Esteli, Nicaragua. This new edition consists of longfiller ligero leaves grown in the Jalapa Valley rolled in a lush, milder tasting Habano wrapper, making this 'straight ligero' blend very attractive to those who want a more medium-bodied Cain cigar. Daytona offers a full-flavored, ultra smooth smoke with an excellent balance of flavors that include coffee, mild pepper, and sweet tobacco notes.

Tatuaje Ambos Mundos

Just in!

Ambos Mundos Cigars by Tatuaje’s Pete Johnson, was created of 2009 to be an affordable line. The Ambos Mundos uses a slightly lesser grade tobacco, usually Tobacco with nothing more but a few blemishes like water marks, mainly in the wrappers used on his highly acclaimed Tatuaje Brown Label and Cabaiguan cigars. These tobaccos may be a lower grade, but they pack all the taste and body you expect from a Nicaraguan cigar created by Pete Johnson and Don Jose Pepin Garcia. Packed in boxes of 25 available in a handful of sizes ranging from a 5 x 50 Robusto to a 5 ½ x 56 Grande, and also available in two wrapper styles a Nicaraguan Habano or an Ecuadorian Sumatra.

single Region By Carlos Torano's

The concept of the "single region" highlights the different characteristics of tobaccos grown on individual farms in various regions in the world’s best tobacco-producing countries. Each Serie will feature a blend that is created entirely from tobaccos grown on one carefully selected finca in one particular region. The blend’s flavor and aroma will reflect the influence of the region’s soil, weather and topography. The ToraƱos then apply their well-known blending artistry to create an in-depth smoking experience that reveals the character of this historic region’s tobacco.

The first release, Serie Jalapa, features a blend of tobacco from the El Estero Farm in Jalapa, Nicaragua. This small farm, located in the country’s northernmost growing province, is irrigated by a centuries-old, natural stream on the property. Its mineral-rich water, together with the sandy, red clay soil, enables this farm to grow some of the finest and most aromatic tobacco in the world. Lewis’ tasting notes indicate Serie Jalapa is, “Incredibly rich, complex, layered and with a great presence of sweetness. The blend exhibits good strength that balances well with the rounded, luscious flavor.”

Master by Carlos Torano's

The Carlos Torano Master is one of the newest creations from the Torano family. Many cigar smokers put the Torano Master line in their top 10 list because of the amazing attention to construction with no lacking in the flavor. These cigars feature an amazing palette of smooth flavors and aromas that will surely impress many smokers, from the beginner to the aficionado. Offering notes of cedar and spice throughout, smokers will notice accents of cocoa and caramel that will blow you away. This is a must try for any cigar connoisseur. Medium to full bodied at a great price, this has become one of my go to cigars recently.
