Casa Magna Oscoro's

I have to say, I totally saw this one coming.....One year after the release of the "Original Casa Magna", comes the creation of the "Casa Magna Oscoro" created by two cigar legends Manuel Quesada and Nestor Plascencia. The Oscoro is dark, rich, and spicy and is listed at a great price point, $6-$8 for all four sizes. Personally, I hope that they just keep rolling out new cigars because these two guys really know what they're doing. Good stuff.

La Flor Double press Habano

New from La Flor Dominica are two new Habano cigars introduced at the tobacco show this summer. A double pressed toro size in a really unique box that flips over with 10 cigars on each side, and a habano torpedo. From what I was told by my La flor rep, (my favorite rep by the way), this is the same cigar that comes in the La flor torpedo sampler pack. I tried them both and they are both great cigars. Honestly, La flor just keeps putting out great cigars. This has quickly become one of my favorite companies.

Cain Cigars by Oliva and La traviata by CAO

We will be getting both Cain cigars which are made by Nub cigars, and La traviata which is made by CAO. I am really looking forward to trying both of these brands. La traviata from what I understood is a Cameroon binder cigar with ligero wrapper.
The Cain is a Ligero filler and binder, and a habano or maduro wrapper. They both sound really good. The Cain is a full bodied power-house.

Fonseca viso fuerte

Although I don't have a taste for most of the Fonseca line, I really enjoyed these. so much so that We brought the line in here for people to try. Its a medium to full bodied Honduran wrapper. Having not carried Fonseca's in so long cause they where such a slow seller these things had to really impress me to order them, and they did.

fairly priced as well ranging from $6.00-$8.00 a stick.

Arganese

Just got In the full line of Arganese cigars, Including the barber pole which I am not usually big on barber poles. But these where really good. There is a mild, a medium bodied (the barber pole), and a full bodied Nicaraguan. A really good line all at a decent price. Starting to see a lot more of that with the current recession.

Kristoff cigars

A friend/costumer had come in here a few weeks ago and told me about these, I had heard of them already from ads and stuff. But he came in telling me he really liked them and then gave me a few that he had purchased when he was out of town. I had tried the natural criollo wrapper, I generally don’t care to much for a criollo wrapper, but this was actually really smooth. It was a medium bodied cigar with a really nice draw and burn. I also got the maduro, Which I didn't like as much as the criollo. He also gave me a ligero wrapper. This one was so-so. If we are talking Ligero I always end up comparing Oliva V’s and La Flor Dominicana to anything ligero, and usually they never match up. But I did end up calling the company. The rep sent me some more, including the Ligero Maduro which I did end up enjoying. It is a full body cigar with lots of flavor.
Overall I really did enjoy most of the line. I ended up getting them all in this week and I am glad I did cause I have already had a few guys come in and say they had been looking for them.
