EP Carrillo E-Stunner

EP Carrillo E-Stunner cigars are aptly named for it's stunning flavor and complexity. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo III, son of the legendary Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. said the cigar will be "strong, full of flavor, and if you smoke the whole cigar, it will definitely stun you." With its Nicaraguan and Dominican filler, Nicaraguan binder, and smooth Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, this cigar is one of the best EP Carrillo has offered

KA kendell 7-20-4 Spider

Kurt Kendall has found a cure for Arachnophobia and the bite of this spider is sure to put a smile on any cigar smokers face. Kendall’s headquarters are located in Manchester, New Hampshire, which is known for resurrecting a turn-of-the century brand called 7-20-4, a clear Havana produced by Roger G. Sullivan in Manchester from 1874 until the Cuban Embargo started in 1963. Kendall registered the dead 7-20-4 trademark and debuted the modern 7-20-4 line in April 2009, with Alec Bradley producing it in Honduras at Fabrica de Tabacos Raices Cubanas S. de R.L. The Spider originated in the 1930s in Somersworth, New Hampshire, Kurt’s home state. To test the markets acceptance, it was released to a limited number of New England smoke shops in 2011. The Spider features a Honduran binder and filler tobaccos from the Jamastran Valley and Nicaraguan Jalapa, as well as Columbia. Spider, which Kendall says is medium to full in body, will be offered in 20-count boxes that feature a glass lid with an etched Spider logo, single vitolas will retail for about $11 and will come in one size only 6 X 52.

La Duena by My Father

La Duena was blended by Pete Johnson for Janny Garcia and is made in the My Father factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. According to Pete Johnson, the blend is a cross between La Riqueza and La Casita Criollo, the focus being on flavor over strength.

The
La Duena blend centers around Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco, as it is used in the filler, binder and wrapper. The result is a medium to full-bodied cigar with loads of sweet, earthy flavors that balance out the spicy Nicaraguan tobacco. If you are a fan of Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco and medium-bodied Nicaraguan cigars, then this Maduro is a must try.

SWAG cigars

SWAG cigars present an all-Dominican-leaf straight ligero blend rolled in a rare, Habano Ligero wrapper. Graced by an attractive band and individually wrapped in tissue, SWAG has already earned several 90-score ratings. Described as a "notably spicy smoke with some hearty leather notes and light fruit flavors," SWAG delivers a complex, medium to full-bodied smoke laced with notes of earth, cedar, coffee, and a subtly sweet 'n peppery finish.

SLR Gen2

Altadis has giving its Saint Luis Rey brand a facelift and a newer, bolder flavor with the new
, which comes out this month.
SLR Gen2 is a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers, a Nicaraguan Binder and a wrapper leaf of Ecuadoran Sumatra (the original blend features a Honduran wrapper and includes filler from Peru).
This is a fuller-bodied Saint Luis Rey. The traditional Saint Luis Rey was medium bodied, so this newer Saint Luis Rey is a completely different blend, but has the same identity to play off those same sweet spots.

Altadis released Gen2 in three sizes: Robusto at 4 1/2 inches by 54 ring, Toro at 6 by 54 and Titan at 6 by 60. Despite the supercripted "2" in the name, which could be read as "squared," the cigars are round rather than box-pressed. They all come in boxes of 21, and will range in price from $5.75 to $6.75 per cigar.
