Kaizad Hansotia has created a true
gem this time - The Gurkha Cellar Reserve cigars are a truly wonderful
cigar full of taste and body. The Gurkha Cellar Reserve cigars can
easily be described as one of the most complex Gurkha cigars ever. The
15 on the wrapper is describing the aged 15 year old vintage tobacco
used in the filler. The Gurkha Cellar Reserve Cigars are perfectly
packaged in a natural wood grain wooden box complimenting the cigar.
The Gurkha Cellar Reserve cigars are a fantastic smoke and no expense
was spared. The cigar starts off medium-bodied but the closer you get to
the band strength escalates into a complex, full bodied experience. This cigar has quickly become one of my favorites!

Gurkha Seduction
The Gurkha Seduction Cigars were first released at the 2011 IPCPR trade
show as a brick and mortar only cigar. 2011 marked three new releases
for Gukha, the Cellar Reserve, the Royal Challenge and the final release
the Seduction, All of which we stock. This medium bodied smoke is made using a Habano seed
Ecuadorian wrapper which lends this cigar a nice spice and hint of
sweetness. The filler is comprised of 100% Columbian Corojo tobacco
which gives this cigar its unique flavor profile and rich body, the
filler is held together with an aged Dominican Olor binder. The result
is an flavorful cigars that is jammed packed with flavor, complex and
well balanced. The cigars are packed in sleek modern boxes of 20 cigars,
available in 4 different sizes: 5 x 55 Robusto, 6 x 55 Toro, 7 x 55
Churchill and a 6 x 60 XO Gordo.
Arturo Fuente Magnum R
The Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum R line is a new
blend from the masters of the Dominican. Unlike previous Rosado
releases, this line is made with wrapper leaves lower down on the plant
making this a milder Rosado cigar. The Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown
Magnum R is made with an Ecuadorian Sungrown Sumatra wrapper and the
rest of the construction is Dominican. A mild to medium bodied line,
these cigars will smoke smooth, sweet, and have a very long finish.
EP Carrillo maduro
Ernesto
Perez-Carrillo has been slowly increasing the breadth of his product
line, but there was one thing was missing—a maduro. until just this past summer he unveiled
his version of a maduro cigar!
"A lot of people were asking for a maduro," Carrillo told Cigar Aficionado . "I had looked at Mexican maduro, Brazilian—but this one shined."
This one is Connecticut broadleaf, a hearty, dark and rugged leaf that Perez-Carrillo first used in the 1970s in Miami, when he was making La Gloria Cubanas. Perez-Carrillo is using broadleaf grown in the Connecticut River Valley in 2008/09, which he claimed was superb, with superior yield and great flavor.
He's used the leaf to create the E.P. Carrillo Maduro, an eight-size line that's identical in dimension and suggested retail price to the lineup of the E.P. Carrillo "core" line. The cigars come in Encantos (4 7/8 by 50, $6.45); Regalias Real (5 5/8 by 46); Club 52 (5 7/8 by 52); Churchill Especial (7 1/8 by 49); Predilectos (a torpedo measuring 6 1/8 by 52); Golosos (6 1/4 by 60) and Monumentos (7 3/8 by 56). They retail for $5.25 to $9.30 per cigar and are made at Perez-Carrillo's factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
